Welcome to Al Dhannah City
Al Dhannah’s story reflects the evolution of the region itself. Historically known as Al Yash, the area later developed into Ruwais as part of the UAE’s growing energy sector in the 1970s, before being reintroduced as Al Dhannah in 2021.
What began as a residential hub supporting industrial development has since developed into a fully planned city designed for modern living.
Located in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region, 250 km west of Abu Dhabi, the city is now home to over 35,000 residents from more than 70 nationalities. With its strategic location, integrated planning, and strong sense of community, Al Dhannah continues to grow as a city designed to support daily life across residential, community, and business needs.
